Styling
Cleanse, cut and finish – Cleanse, condition, cut and finish. Usually includes a natural blow dry including diffuse drying or curling. 1hr
Restyle – Transform your hair shape into something new. Like a cleanse, cut and finish, but with a bit of extra time to talk to you about exactly what you want. 1hr15
Short blow dry – Cleanse, condition and blow dry styling. 30 to 45mins
Long blow dry – Cleanse, condition, and blow dry or diffuse dry. 45mins to 1hr
Short quick dry – This usually takes place after a colouring treatment, when a quick service is needed.
Long quick dry – Another quick service after a colour, but this takes a bit longer.
Dry styling – When your hair requires extra curling or smoothing after a cut (using curling irons/straightening irons). 30 mins
Hair up – We’ll do this for you after a cut or other service, when a day or evening up-do is needed.
Keratin smoothing treatments
This is one of the newest hairdressing products in the fight to tame hair – and it’s incredibly effective. This smooths curly, wavy and frizzy hair and lasts 3-6 months. We apply it in the salon for you. 2 to 4hrs.
A less invasive keratin hair dressing treatment is the semi-permanent smoother, which is also applied in the salon and lasts up to two weeks. 30mins
The quickest way to smooth hair is the finishing service, which can be applied by our hairdressers in the salon. Or you can buy from us to do at home. 20mins
Conditioning
Aveda conditioning – This is an Aveda after-cleanse service using a deep condition product to strengthen and smooth.
Olaplex conditioning – This is an in-salon treatment that strengthens your hair from within by restoring broken bonds in the hair shaft. It can be a post-colour or stand-alone treatment.
Colour
Aveda Glossing – A colour service using an Aveda clear or pastel formula to enhance shine and intensify colour.
Foils – Your hair dresser will place colour in your hair using foil, to gently highlight or lowlight. Available in ¼ head (usually around frontal hairline), ½ head or full head (as with ¼ head but for extra coverage around the head). This is for maintenance colour.
When this is done for the first time, you just need to pop in before and have a skin test and consultation, which will also decide the treatment price.
Regrowth – Maintenance colour to new growth, usually from 3 weeks to 3 months growth.
Regrowth and foils – Maintenance regrowth with foils to add a natural look.
Glossing – Add this to one of the colour services to add depth and shine.
Block colour – Statement or natural colour for all your hair.

Please note: You need a skin sensitivity test at least 48hrs before a colour service. This can be done at any authorised Aveda salon, and we can also carry out a skin test if you are going to another Aveda salon for colouring.
